  • Welcome

UNIT-O is Orange County's newest, full-service recording studio for music production, mixing, voice over, mastering and artist development. The recording studio blends the best of the analog and digital recording environments, to produce exceptional sounding projects.

Everything from the microphone to the recording medium, Pro Tools, is done the old fashioned way. We use classic microphones, pre amps, EQ, Compressors and Limiters for an authentic, analog sound. The only difference is a computer running Pro Tools HD Native is the recording medium, instead of analog, multi-track tape machines. Our projects have the classic sound quality of the 70s, 80s and 90s merged with the modern convenience of editing using state-of-the-art audio programs, and a ginormous library of virtual instruments.

Producer/Engineer and Studio Manager, Brian Leshon, has worked in music production and multi-media for over thirty five years with artists including Kansas, Devo, Supertramp, Jeff Beck, Rod Stewart, David Bowie, to name a few. He was there in the golden age of recording and brings that experience to your projects.
