• UNIT-O Productions and Supernaw Sign Production Agreement

  • supernawcontractJuly 2016 (Anaheim, CA) – UNIT-O Productions is proud to announce signing a production agreement with Los Angeles-based indie artist Supernaw. Recording is already under way for the band’s new EP scheduled for released this fall.

Supernaw was selected from 1,300 entrants in a contest run on Reverbnation. The selected entrants received an opportunity to enter into an agreement offered by UNIT-O to record an EP

Supernaw is a Hollywood, CA based Pop/Rock duo featuring London, the principal songwriter, male vocalist and guitarist. He is joined by Clover, the female vocalist in the duet, who also contributes to the writing. The band plays an exciting mix of original pop music inspired by Sublime, Pink, Maroon 5, The Decemberists, Lady Antebellum and Little Big Town. In a typical Supernaw song, listeners hear traces of reggae, American country, classic rock, SoCal punk rock and traditional pop

UNIT-O Producer/Engineer Brian Leshon said, “We are very excited to find such a unique and talented duo to be the first act signed to our production company. London and Clover are incredible songwriters with exceptional lyrical content. Their songs convey clear images and are more than just a collection of phrases stuck together. Their songs are profound and meaningful.”

According to Supernaw singer/songwriter and guitarist London, “Signing this production agreement with Unit-O is the natural progression of our career, and we are extremely excited to be a pert of the Unit-O team.”

Supernaw is the first act to sign with UNIT-O Productions. The Anaheim California based production company looks to sign several more acts in 2016. UNIT-O principals selected several other acts from the ReverbNation submissions. The production company has also signed a country/pop act that will be announced shortly. Other winning acts are reviewing contracts. The production company continues to look for acts to produce and shop to labels in multiple genres. The UNIT-O philosophy is to provide artists with the ability to produce quality work for major album releases to gain an advantage in achieving their career goals.

Leshon states, “We find and develop the best talent available. We’re not just another studio renting time to acts. We develop talent preparing them for major releases. Most of my work has been on major album releases. Most bands do demo after demo, on limited budgets, calling them their “new CD.” Those artists wind up caught in the cycle of under performance – they don’t spend the time recording necessary to do quality work that attracts record companies, television shows and movies. This results in limited success. If a band has some funding in place for a project, UNIT-O Productions works with them to get the most out of it, including consulting on fundraising.”
